VISIT OF CARLOS ITURGAIZ TO THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT

The president of the Basque PP, Carlos Iturgaiz, visited the European Parliament on October 18 to present an impulse plan for the Basque Country.

During his visit, he asked the European People’s Party to promote, in the commissions where it participates, “what we Basques need and that the PNV is incapable of promoting”, and he suggested that the EU “take care that the Basque Country progresses in the field economic, of the infrastructures, and in the one of the liberties”.

Carlos Iturgaiz met with the Spanish delegation of the European People’s Party in Strasbourg and together with the spokesperson, Dolors Montserrat, presented the Impulse Plan for “key” projects in the Basque Country such as the TAV, European funds, the fishing situation or the “freedom deficit”.
