CONFERENCE WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE 10TH UNED CONGRESS ON THE EU

Javier Zarzalejos organised a conference on Monday 18 November as part of the 10th UNED Congress on the European Union, where he addressed the issue of the rule of law, underlining its crucial importance for the development and cohesion of the EU. The event was also attended by prominent speakers, such as Nicolás Pascual de la Parte, MEP for the Partido Popular, who spoke on the challenges of security and defence in Europe, and Axel Voss, who gave a detailed overview of European digital legislation and its implications for innovation and technological regulation.

Carlos Vidal, Professor of Constitutional Law, was also present as master of ceremonies for the event. The conference was attended by 60 students of different ages and was a space for an enriching exchange of ideas that allowed them to reflect on key issues for the future of the European Union.
