HEARING COMMISSIONER MICHEL MCGRATH

The hearing of the Commissioner-designate for Democracy, Justice and the Rule of Law, Michael McGrath, took place on 5 November 2024. This portfolio is of great importance, as the Commission has a key role to play in guaranteeing and promoting the rule of law in the European Union. Javier Zarzalejos emphasised the need to strengthen our institutions and the validity of European values and principles.
