VISIT OF THE STUDENTS OF THE REYES CATÓLICOS SECONDARY EDUCATION INSTITUTE OF VÉLEZ-MÁLAGA

On June 2, MEP Javier Zarzalejos received a group of students from the Reyes Católicos Secondary Education Institute in Vélez-Málaga at the European Parliament.

During this meeting, the MEP encouraged the students to see Europe not only as a place to visit but also as a land of opportunities for their future.

He also pointed out that the sustainability of the Spanish economy cannot be explained without the help of the European Union and the European Central Bank.

The MEP spoke of the transition to a digital economy, only possible within the European Union when competing with large economies such as the United States or China.

Finally, he highlighted the role of the European Union as a fundamental space for all Member States to guarantee a democratic system and the rule of law.
