On April 24, MEP Javier Zarzalejos participated alongside MEP Nicol\u00e1s Pascual de la Parte in an engaging roundtable discussion on the future of Europe, organized by Nuevas Generaciones of the Tetu\u00e1n branch of the People’s Party. The event focused on the major challenges Europe faces in the 21st century.<\/p>\n

A central topic of discussion was the role Europe must play in the new global order following Donald Trump’s return to the U.S. presidency. The speakers agreed on the need for a stronger, more united Europe with its own leadership on the international stage. Other key issues addressed included security, defense, the economy, energy transition, and the importance of strengthening European institutions in the face of both external and internal threats.<\/p>\n
